In traveling several years ago looking for a new home, I saw a countryside with tall pines, lakes, and good flowing traffic. On a closer look at the Longview community, I discovered several major hospitals, public transportation, and a variety of shopping and restaurants available.
 
The climate produces many sunny days with very few occasions when traveling would be difficult due to weather. Also, many opportunities exist for volunteer participation through children's programs, sports, and community events. With a progressive business culture, jobs are available for those interested in remaining active in the workforce (like me!).
 
Neighborhoods contain numerous original homeowners where young and old walk in their communities taking advantages of the many park trails. These trails offer opportunities for jogging, walking, or bike riding. Plus, neighborhood watch programs help promote community safety.
